Good for pull-ups..thats it.
This product is just a glorified pull-up bar. All other exercises advertised just do not "happen", but I am sure it helps boost up their sales dramatically. 2008-12-26

Does what it says
After researching various bars for a couple hours I went with this one. The portability appealed to me as did the multiple grips. I received it today and assembled it in about 5 minutes. My extended family was over for christmas and all enjoyed testing it out. It seems pretty solidly built and I plan on using it for a long time.
1 minor complaint- It's unfortunate that the entire bar isn't gripped with foam to allow a full range of grips. It's certainly still possible to just hold on to the metal but with grips for inner and wide grip pullups along with the parallel it would have been simple to grip the entire bar.
That said, for the price it's very hard to complain. I'm buying 2 more for my brother and cousin. Get it.

Awesome piece of equipment!
I just received this as a present today (12/25/08) and WOW do I love this! Having a military background, I've always been into physical fitness and truly appreciate the importance of upper body fitness. This very simple (easy to put together), very well constructed device absolutely fits the bill. It allows one to perform all the essential exercises necessary for a complete upper body workout, without requiring any drilling or installation. I was skeptical at first, but I have been using it ALL day today, on a variety of doorways throughout my home, and it holds up exceedingly well, without ANY damage to my home. I love and recommend this to anyone who is serious about getting into shape...it's a great addition to any workout regimen. Just don't forget about your lower body while having fun with this :-)!

didn't quote work well
i tried to hang it to my door like i saw on tv, but it didn't work properly. it kept on falling down. it comes with some metal thing that you're supposed to hinge to your door, but they didn't show that on tv and i have no intention of putting a hole in my door. 2008-12-25

Be CAREFUL!
This really is nice for those who don't want to have to go about installing bolts or mounts into their door frames. They do include, however, a small "safety" piece which is supposed to slide between the trim and the wall. The idea is to have the flat plank above the trim with the piece of metal preventing it from slipping off, and the very sides of the handles provide the counter pressure on the opposite side of the door frame. Be EXTRA careful if you are using a slightly wide door. The bar just barely fits in my frame, with little room for error when it comes to placement. I must have had one side a tad off one day, because my butt was definitely sore when I came crashing down, iron gym in hand, mid pull-up. Oh, and the little metal safety clip? Well, it bent almost in half, and went flying across the room. I am only 135 lbs, so anyone larger should use even more caution, especially the first few times you use it.
Aside from that little incident, there really is no damage to the door. I have noticed two small indentations on the outer trim, but I can't really be sure if that is from regular use, or if it happened when I took my little spill.
