Ironman Gravity 1000 Inversion Table

THIS PRODUCT SEEMS VERY STURDY AND WELL BUILT. IT WAS FAIRLY EASY TO ASSEMBLE AND THE PRICE WAS GREAT (ON SALE FOR $134). I LOVE COMING HOME AT THE END OF A LONG DAY AND HANGING UP SIDE DOWN ON THIS TABLE. IT FEELS AWESOME!!! INSTANT RELAXATION.

I have been researching these for some time now and I've finally bit the bullet and ordered mine. I am a male, 49 years old, 190lbs with a bulging disc between L4 & L5. I have endured constant pain for a few years, sometimes it goes away, but the little bit of stress on my lower back and it comes haunting me again. The Ironman 1000 was my choice. When I read about a man that weighed 290lbs and he felt safe...it was a no-brainer. I am just now beginning my regiment on this crazy machine, so I will return with an update in about 30 days.

As far as assembly, Ironman provides you with everything you need, even wrenches and phillips head driver. The tools are even quality and sturdy. They give you all the bolts in a vacuum-sealed package so you can clearly see all the pieces are there. The instructions are quite explanitory and even a complete dunce my me can put this thing together within a hour (my wife was pleased that from start to finish and even cleaning up the garbage I didn't take up her living room for more than 60 minutes).

Everything about this product speaks quality and affordability. I purchased mine via online at Wally World. They shipped it to me in FOUR days from NY to California. It even arrived on Christmas Eve (when I'm writing this) via FedEx. It cost me only $2.95 for shipping! Amazing!

Eight things to note for the would-be buyer...
1) This product is a very good buy and does what an inversion table does - no need to spend three or four times as much. Good value for money - I paid $134.
2) Yes, the ankle grips can be uncomfortable, but with socks and trainers, it is tolerable.
3) Don't expect to hang upside down for too long. Only a few minutes is bearable. My head throbbed heavily the first time while inverted!
After, it takes several minutes to get rid of that queazy feeling (but then I can't take roller coasters, so you may be OK. I use it before bed, so I can "rest" after.
4) Don't eat or drink before using the inversion table (for obvious reasons)
5) Even if there is no back pain, I found it makes my back muscles ache the first time you use it, due to the stretching from your weight.
6) It seems to help back trouble to some extent, but it's not a miracle cure. The relief is not necessarily lasting; for me anyway.
7) It takes up quite alot of room (same footprint as my elliptical), so bear that in mind if you don't have much room.
8) If you've tried everything else for your back, then try this.

Awesome. Nice build quality and stable enough to support me and my big self at 290lbs. Ankle straps looked like they wouldn't work with my large legs but were no problem at all.

Has made a huge difference in lessening chronic back pain & strengthening abdominals. Easy to assemble & use.
