Quality Product
I've had the InMotion elliptical trainer for about a month and so far it seems like a really good product. It's small so it can be stored out of the way easily yet it is still sturdy so you don't feel like the thing is going to fall apart when you use it. It doesn't have the range of motion that a full sized elliptical machine would but that is to be expected and even with the limited range of motion you can still get a good workout on it. 2008-06-16
Nice Little Wonder!
I've been using it for couple of weeks. i was skeptical at the begining, but it surprised me! Gives me a pretty good workout every day since I've been using it. Good thing about this one is it's small size -- you can pretty much put it anywhere you like. It's virtually noise-less. My other machine squicks and grinds. But this one is smooth, no noise. The strides are small, so it's not going to give you heavy workout. But you can easily burn about 100 cal in 10 minutes. 2008-06-04
Works as expected
As other reviewers posted, the machine is short in strides, but I just consider it a smoother version of a mini stepper. I haven't had any problems with losing my balance. It seems like I would need something to grab on to but once I get in the groove, I feel pretty secure in place. 2008-05-25
Portable but motion is to short
Just received my InMotion E1000 and I am happy with the easy assembly and portability of it. Seems to be well built and sturdy. Had to laugh a little by how short the circular motion is on it. I guess I should have figured by it's size. This certainly won't replace the work out you will get on a regular sized elliptical but on the flip side it is better than not doing anything. Probably one would get a better workout just running in place but I suppose this is easier on the knees and more quiet. If you have the room for a real elliptical save your money and don't bother with this product. 2008-05-22
One Small Step for Fitness
This little Elliptical Trainer is perfect for small spaces. It's easy to assemble and sturdily built (in fact,it's quite heavy for its size). The smaller than normal stride takes a little getting used to, and the hands free operation requires some balance, but I get a very good workout from this little machine. It can be a little awkward to move around because it has no handles, per se. And it's a bit like a stationary unicycle. It's a very good value for the money.
