not for me
I have been suffering from leg pain for over 15 years, due to a sports injury. The problem may be a damaged tendon or ligament high up on my left leg. I have tried all kinds of chairs and pads. I have even used expensive jell cushions. Nothing seems to work. This product goes in the pile of do-nothings. In fact, my pain increased using it. Granted, I may not be using it as it is designed, as an excercise tool. Never-the-less, it is not for me or perhaps others who suffer from similar leg pain. I do a lot of work on the computer, hence the need for a comfortable seat. 2007-08-26

this balance trainer is perfect. it's a very nice, thick plastic just like the ones you see at the gym. so many exercises to do! 2007-07-16
OK Product, but others are better
This product delivers decent value for the price. However, GoFit has a similar products that comes with a DVD that includes training programs and exercises that feature the stability disc. I train alot at home and I have found that most of GoFit's products come with an instructional DVD. This is a big help for beginners and experienced exercisers and a tremendous value. 2007-03-09
Cheap, useful, works....
This is the same as the ones I used at the physio gym @ hospital. Works like it should (not rocket science!!), light, easy to carry if needed. I use it for balance, strengthening excerises.

Doing the Trick for my Pelvis!
I purchased the core balance trainer to allow my SI joints to have movement while sitting since I suffer from a deviated sacrum. When my sacrum is in pain, I sit on the disc and it allows my body to have movement from hip to hip and I don't have to just squeeze my buttocks and abdomen constantly. I sit on it when I drive but it does elevate me, whereas, my head is very close to the roof of the car and the rear view mirror really isn't at a good place but it does allow movement when my pelvis needs to release and have movement. 2007-01-09
