Slendertone Men's Flex Abdominal Toning System Belt

I have mixed feelings about this device. I used it for a month, and it did seem to be firming up my abdominal muscles. I was up to level 70 out of the 100 possible. Not to be indelicate about this subject, but I had to stop using the Slendertone because strangely it was affecting my intestinal activity. I stopped using it for a few days and the problems went away, but came back when I started using it again. I've never had a problem with constipation before, and I can only think that using the Slendertone was causing it. I imagine that other body parts near the waist are also receiving the electric charges along with the abs, and that was the effect on me. I returned it under their 30 day money back guarantee and they refunded my money. The instruction manual says that nobody knows the long term effects of using this device, and I decided I would have to just work my abs the old-fashioned way.

I bought this item based on the reviews here, but it did not deliver the promised results, I have now used it for about a month and haven't seen any results at all. I am not overweight or anything, just wanted to reduce the tummy, but disappointed with the product. It was a waste of money.

This is a fantastic product, yes it does work! Be advised that the replacement gel pads are expensive and not always easily found, and depending on how carefully you handle them will determine how many uses you get out of them. The pad placement is slightly awkward and takes some time to get just right, but once you find the right spots, you'll remember that next time and not struggle. The gel pads don't place, peel, and replace well over time, so if you put them on right the first time, they'll wear much longer. The unit is well designed, quality constructed, and has a comfortable fit. If you have the commitment to use it daily, you'll see the results it promises. The flexing/buzzing sensation is easily adjusted by the intensity, not at all hurtful. Overall, I'm thrilled with this product. You can FEEL the results no matter what your weight, but to SEE the results...you need to already to be near your target weight to begin with.

With so many scams on the market today, it's refreshing to find a device that does what it says it will do. Make no mistake - this device requires a commitment from the user, like anything else. But if you are faithful to it and work a regular schedule, you will see some amazing results. Keep in mind, this is not a means to lose the fat that may be covering your abs. This device works the ab muscles, shapes and tones them. Losing the fat that hides those muscles, is up to you. The pads on the device last a good, long time and battery usage is reasonable. The product seems well made, is easy to use, and fits well. The set up is fairly simple by sticking on the gell pads. The instructions should be more detailed about pad placement on the belt and on the body. You need to try a few different placements until you get it right, which is a small problem because the gel pads are somewhat delicate and do not hold up well to adhereing and then removing and readhereing to the belt itself. The gel pads, do however, seem to hold up well from adhereing and removing from my skin, just peel them off slowly and carefully. I feel a vibrating, pricking sensation when the belt is working, not really uncomfortable. I have noticed no shocking or burning sensations as noted with other brand units and no skin sensativity other than that occurring from having a sticky pad on my skin for 30 minutes. I had to turn up the intensity to 25 (1-60) before I could feel any muscle contractions. Again the instructions don't really mention this. Combined with proper diet and excersize, this product should provide results as promised.
