well made but afraid that my door cant handle it
just what the title says, basically. however, if you're stuck between this and an expensive chin up bar, i recommend you purchase this. much easier "installation" and removal because it requires absolutely no nuts and bolts, just a locked door. cheaper too 2008-07-24
The BEST Chip-Up Bars
I've probably bought 3 different pull-up bars over the years, and this is by far best for a number of reasons:
1) Ease of setup/takedown; 5 sec max
2) No permanant damange to door or scraching of paint/damge to wood frame
3) Portability; I carry them to work and home daily; I've also taken them on trips and have had great work-outs
4) High Qualtiy: I've had them for a few months and with daily use show no signs of breaking soon.
There is no downside. I wish I would have made these bars, such a simple yet functional idea!

Great pullups!
These work great, although they took me a few minutes to get used to. I had to first overcome the fear that it was going to rip the door off the hinge or ruin it somehow, and I was able to get over that and after doing a few the door was still in great shape, like it was before I started doing them. It took a few seconds to be able to get some pullups done, I think this equipment makes it harder to do a pullup because there is no swinging at all.
Some people mentioned getting free equipment with their purchase, I only ordered the power chin ups and that's what I got, there wasn't the extra power cords or jump rope others mentioned receiving. They did include a book on how to use and "install" the power up chin ups and a product catalog with other workout products. I'd recommend these to friends, they work really well.

Great Product!!
These chin ups work amazing because they're easy to take anywhere and it's actually a challenging exercise. Unlike the pull up bar, you can't really get momentum or swing going so I feel it's much harder but the results are better. 2008-06-18
Very simple and very effective
This is the best thing you can buy to develop your back if you travel a lot or cannot install a pull-up bar on your door frame. I rent an apartment and this is perfect for me. You might want to wear pants or long shorts so that your knees don't create friction against the door. Otherwise, the exercise is just the same as a pull-up bar, that is if you are trained enough so that you don't need to swing back and forth. 2008-06-08
