DYNAFLEX PRO-SPORTS GYRO EXERCISER,1CT

I love the gyro ball - it is excellent for a quick exerciser - but be forewarned, it does make some noise while its spinning rather fast (bout the sound of a fan on low) - I use it on the train or while sitting on the couch.. you get it started by running it along the carpet. For $20 - u can't lose!

This product is a really good product however the one i got is very wobbly and the gyro inside is jacked up. Makes very loud noise as well, like its scraping. Everyone who owns one in the office agree's that I should probably get this one replaced or refunded. Hopefully the warranty is good. I recommend the product though as it is a good work out when you have a working one. Probably just luck of the draw I guess.

Many of the reviews I read on this gave me pause to purchase one. Almost all the ones that I read said good things about it "once you got it going". In addition to the Dynaflex Pro, I ordered the docking station automatic starter. This got me up and running right out of the box.

After using it for a while, I tried some of the manual starting methods. I was miserably unsuccessful in getting it started using this method, even after watching the DVD. So had I not bought the docking station too, I may have had disappointment right off the bat too. So those of you thinking of buying this item, I highly recommend getting an automatic start too. For those that own the Dynaflex Pro, and dislike it because you can not get it started, go ahead and add the docking station, you'll be glad you did.

As for the product itself, it is too soon to say if I will see results. I bought it due to carpal tunnel syndrome. I does give my forearms a workout, so I hold out high hopes for it.

The product works well and has a variety of ways to use it. The instructional CD cannot be fast-forwarded or rewound so you have to start over each time. I managed to get the starter string caught inside and wrapped around the internal spindle. When I called the company I was told there is nothing they could do to help me. Some guarantee!
Eventually, I figured a way to untangle the string.
Advice: Be careful how you wind and then pull the string.
Otherwise, I found the DynaFlex Pro to be an effective wrist strengthener.

This took a good hour to understand and operate. Watch the videos and use the string if needed. Eventually you should be able to move the ball on your hand to get it started. Once you get it going, you can obtain higher rpms by strong and slow rotations of the wrist. It is not a "party toy" - this thing can seriously make your arms sore for days. Other gyro balls have counters on them, so you can see your progress. I plan on buying more of these and give to friends as gifts.
