Great Purchase
This was a very good buy. Its definitely worth the money. You can get some good exercise out of it once you put your mind to it.

What I've been looking for
I have wanted a treadmill for years, of course I didn't look all that hard and all I ever saw were the ones that sell for hundreds or thousands of dallars. I finally thought ok I'll find one I can make payments on, but I really don't care for all the wistles and bells, just walking, I can tell when I've walked twenty minutes. I found these here on amazon and the reveiws of this one looked good enought for me. Bought it and holy moly, this thing is great, fifteen to twenty minutes on this and I've had a GREAT work out, the machine is built very well, very sturdy, very easy to set up, great workmanship and design. And I could pay for it in one lump sum, great, go for it.....

perfect treadmill for the price
I work out quite a lot, and it still managed to get me on my knees the first few days [weeks, even] that I used this machine.
definitely not for the faint of heart, but works amazingly well for the price.

Incline
This is a very good product for the cost but if it has the ability to be flat, I can't figure it out. It is always on a constant incline, when there are times I'd like it to be flat.

Three years into this machine
I can't give it 5 because the first machine was Dead on arrival. We plugged it in and set the incline to rise and it died right there set up about 1/4 of the way. We figured it was the power source that failed and so it was. However the company sent not just the power source but another whole machine out. So the first machine is in storage as extra parts if ever. My husband does not like this machine it's too short for his 6ft stride. But it fits my 5'2* stride fine. You may burn more calories with this machine however you also have to hang onto the bars which the automatic treadmill machines because they set the pace you can keep up with allow you the advantage to not hang onto the side bars. Really that is my only dislike with the manual. I don't use the sensors or the electronics. I've set it to the incline I like best and then unplug it and use it when ever without being tethered to a cord and wall. This fits my life style of being less dependent on electricity. Now if I could just get it attached to a TV generator so that when I walked I'd get to watch a TV show at the same time hey..didn't they do that back in the 70's and 80's? The lady who is pregnant needs to leave the incline on flat and just walk steady and yes almost everyone with this unit or any manual treadmill will have to use the handle bars...because it's the only way you can push off the tread. If however anyone else seems to move this thing along by re-adjusting the tread let us all now about that. For now this unit does not take up a huge amount of space and that's a plus.
