Gazelle Edge

I purchased the Gazelle Edge for my wife and setup took only a few minutes. I run for about 5 miles a day and thought that I would not break a sweat with this machine but was pleasantly surprised. The machine does not have any resistance but you can create a fair amount of resistance by tilting forward or backward. I also got a decent upperbody workout which I did not anticipate. The machine also folds very easily and stores conveniently in our closet. It also seems very safe. I have a 4 year old who was very curious and played around with the gazelle. while I wouldn't recommend that you let your child play with any exercise equipment, he was able to handle his own while playing with this one. A definite buy for the price - you can't go wrong.

This is the 3rd one that I've owned. My original was broke by a friend that was over 300 lbs. and it says it goes to 250, and I didn't have the heart to tell him. The 2nd I had for years and probably wore it out between my 17 yr. old daughter and I. Now I have this one. My 14 yr. old son helped me put it together, it's easier with 2 people doing it, but I'm usually independent and think I could have managed it on my own, he just decided to help. I like this machine because it's non-impact (I have a bad ankle that was fractured last yr. w/ ripped ligaments) and I can still get great exercise this way. I am a single mama w/4 kids and I can actually get time to work out and watch my favorite program while they are sleeping in the morning or @ night. I've gotten so many compliments from my friends on how thin my legs are getting and my stomach muscles are firmer too! It's great. Plus the price was a plus compared to what they used to be. The only thing is, I miss the cup holder and remoted control holder on my old one. I was able to put my water bottle in it and sometimes a magazine rolled up or a remote control. But for the price, it's worth it..

I bought this to work out while I watch TV. Although it isn't the hardest workout, it still keeps me moving when I would be sitting.

The Edge was exactly what I was looking for. I get a great cardio plus leg workout. It was simple to put together and quiet when your on it. The only negative I have is, your feet move on the pedals. You should consider installing a foot strap (velcro'd at the top) to accommodate all sizes. Overall rating SUPERB.

This machine is very nice. My wife and i use it all the time.Seems to be pretty much as promised. Shipping carton was severely damaged in transit.None of the parts were damaged or missing. Other than that, we are satisfied with the performance
