Great workout
Easier to put together than a Lego castle.
It's a little bit of a learning curve to get a comfortable, stable stride going on the incline. Kind of like learning to ride a bicycle. But once you get yourself balanced, it's cake. The incline is great for getting your heart going at a good, healthy pace.
The simple design is great too. If you're just looking for something to walk on, sans all the bells and whistles, this is a good buy (though there is a monitor that tells you your time, speed, distance, and calories burned).
The lightweight, compact construction is also good. I can set it in front of the TV and go at it. But if people want me to get out of the way, I can just pick it up and move it. Very maneuverable, as treadmills go.
Watch it when you move it, though. The bolt that holds the lower portion up when it's in storage-position is a little short. If you're not careful, the lower half comes loose and swings down.
The belt also might tend to drift. I'm still playing with tweaking mine into stability. But if you're lazy like me, and aren't too bothered by it, just keep an eye on it when you're walking. If it goes too far to one side, just lean and walk it back to the middle.
It's not a very quiet mechanism. It makes a sound like an agitated weed-eater. So if you're planning on exercising to the TV, don't expect it to be a very theatrical experience. But it will definitely make you feel like less of a couch-potato.

Definitely NO BUY!
I,m a 6' tall guy and weigh 190lbs. It doesn't work for me. The screws to adjust the tension of the belt doesn't work. Its too slippery to run on it. Couldn't return due to packing problem. I wish I could. No Buy, definitely. 2008-11-05

Question about this product
I would like to get a treadmill for my Jack Russell. At only 16 lbs, would he be able to power this one on his own?
Thanks

Stamina InMotion II Manual Treadmill
the size & price is perfect, but the belt keep moving too much to one side or the other. Wouldn't recommend. 2008-10-20

better than i expected
I knew I was purchasing an inexpensive piece of equipment and I expected it to have some quirks, but I was surprised!! I initially bought this to walk on while watching tv so that I could waste my time wisely, but am now using it more often than I thought I would be. Thie silicon spray is a must! It helps to keep the machine working at its best. I am short 5'2" and find that if you are walking on the treadmill you need to have at least one hand on so that you dont start running!! But if you want to run it goes at your pace and is very stable!! It is also very compact adn easy to put together!! I did it myself in my PJ's!! 2008-10-16
