Soft and snug
If you wear these they will wear. My wife wears them around the house and the material rides against the shoes and then you will have holes in the weights. Duc tape adheres well to this material.
Bottom line, these are the most durable of the comfortable weights.

Love them
These are so much more comforitable than what I had before. These are so soft and I can wear them on my ankles without socks or shoes. They velcro on so they are very adjustable. 2008-06-25
Not as good as I'd hoped
The weights are soft and easy to wear, but it is difficult to get them to fit snugly on my wrists. I had to be careful that they didn't fly off in my Tae Kwon Do class. They do fit well on the ankles.
Also, in less than two weeks, one of the weights split apart on one of the seams and started losing sand. I was surprised, since they had been used in any high-impact situation.
I expected better performance from a Bell product.

This is great, its exactly what I want to use it for, I use it as an ankle weights and use it for my glutes muscles. 2008-01-30
pair of 2 1/2 lb. weights are too big and bulky for the wrists
pair of 2 1/2 weights were way too big and bulky for the wrists, they really need to use the image on each box (per weight/size) to show size ratio in relation to a womans wrist.
I don't understand why these companies claim these things to be wrist weights, they are horrible in size. I bought one with adjustable removable weight bags in them before and same problems, so I bought this one and was disappointed when I saw the actual size on the box and when I tried it on.
I guess I just have to haul myself over to a store and physically see them for myself prior to buying since it's never as it looks online.
